REMOVAL
WARNING:
Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.
NOTES:

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

CAUTION:

- Remove the 2 rear silencer mounting rubbers and the exhaust clamp.
- Remove the rear silencer.
Vehicles without occasional rear seats
NOTE:
If equipped.

Disconnect the exhaust actuator electrical connector and reposition away from the exhaust assembly.
CAUTION:
This step requires the aid or another technician.

- Release the 4 rear silencer mounting rubbers and the exhaust clamp.
- Remove the rear silencer.

- Remove the 2 rear silencer mounting rubbers and the exhaust clamp.
- Remove the rear silencer.

- Secure the 4 rear silencer mounting rubbers and the exhaust clamp.
