CAUTIONS:
Make sure all the components are clean and free from corrosion.
Support the driveshaft at all times to prevent the damage to the
centre bearing.
NOTE:
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations
depending on the vehicle specification,
Partial Renewal
The procedure to follow when partially renewing components is the same as
described in the section "Welded Components".
The main difference when components are partially, rather than completely
renewed, concerns the preparation of butt or lap joints.
