Installation
Dress the flanges where necessary.
Mark out the position on the new A-pillar outer panel where the
upper and lower Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welded butt joints are to be
made. Cut through the new panel as indicated.
Offer up the new A-pillar outer panel and clamp into position.
Rear Drive Unit
(RDU)/ Operation
The RDU is driven by the driveshaft which is connected to the PTU. As the
PTU synchroniser is engaged, the driveshaft begins to rotate the stationary
components within the RDU. Pressure is then applied to the clutch plates
and torque is the transferred to the halfshafts.
