REMOVAL

WARNING:

Cooling fans may continue to operate after the engine is turned off.

They may also start to operate after the engine is turned off and continue operating for up to 10 minutes.

CAUTION:

Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

NOTES:

  • Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

REMOVAL

NOTE:

CAUTION:

Correct installation of the Coolant expansion tank cap can be obtained by tightening the cap until an audible click is heard.

Using a syringe, remove the cooling fluid from the expansion tank.

Torque: 5 Nm

NOTE:

Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

INSTALLATION
