CAUTIONS:
- Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of
corrosion and foreign material.
- Make sure the seal is installed correctly.
NOTE:
This step is only required if previously removed.

CAUTION:
Keep the halfshaft horizontal to avoid damaging the oil seal.

Torque: 25 Nm

Make sure that a new bolt is installed.

Stage 1: 80 Nm
Stage 2: 180º
CAUTION:
Make sure that a new bolt is installed.

Stage 2: 120º
CAUTIONS:
- Install the retained nut.
- Do not use air tools to install the nut. Failure to follow this
instruction may result in damage to the component.
- Tighten the nut without the weight of the vehicle on the
suspension.

Torque: 175 Nm
Remove and discard the halfshaft retaining nut.
WARNING:
Install a new nut.
CAUTIONS:
- Do not use air tools to install the nut. Failure to follow this
instruction may result in damage to the component.
- Tighten the nut without the weight of the vehicle on the
suspension.

Stage 1: 100 Nm
Stage 2: 90º

Check and top-up the transfer case fluid level.
Using only four wheel alignment equipment approved by Land
Rover, check and adjust the wheel alignment.
