Differential Draining and
Filling (G1775367) / General
Procedures
WARNING:
Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
CAUTION:
Make sure the vehicle is on a flat level surface.
Raise and support the vehicle.
NOTE:
Discard the differential case filler plug washer.
Make sure the vehicle is level. Remove the rear differential case
filler plug.
NOTE:
Discard the differential case fluid drain plug washer.
Drain the differential fluid.
CAUTION:
Install a new washer.
Install the differential case fluid drain plug.
Torque: 34 Nm
Fill the rear differential, until a thin bead of fluid runs from the filler
hole.
Refer to: Specifications (205-02A, Specifications).
CAUTION:
Install a new washer.
Install the differential case fluid filler plug.
Torque: 34 Nm
Lower the vehicle.

Never allow passengers to travel
in the loadspace under any
circumstances. All vehicle
occupants should be seated
correctly and wear a seat belt at
all times when the vehicle is in
motion.
Always make sure objects carried
within the vehicle are secured
properly.
LOADSPACE C
With Hill Descent Control (HDC) activated,
if the vehicle is stopped on a slope using
the brake pedal, GRC will become active
(except in the Terrain response system's
Sand program). During a hill ascent, when
the brake pedal is released, GRC will
automatically delay and graduate the
brake release, t
