REMOVAL

WARNING:
Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove both the rear wheels and tires.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and
Installation).
Vehicles with occasional rear seats
Remove the spare wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and
Installation).
CAUTION:
Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable
retaining straps.

- Use an Allen key to prevent the ball joint rotating whilst
removing the nut.
- New nuts must be installed.
