Pinpoint tests

NOTE:

The steering wheel heater will not operate if the engine is not running.

NOTES:

  • An infra-red thermometer is used during this test.
  • The steering wheel temperature should have increased by approximately 10ºC after 5 minutes.
  • Do not measure the steering wheel temperature at the seam in the in the leather; this is where the heater element starts and finishes and will produce inaccurate test results.

NOTES:
