REMOVAL

NOTES:

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Refer to: Fuel Filter (310-01B Fuel Tank and Lines - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).

Engine - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Engine Upper Support Insulator (G1923644) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 25 Nm

Support the engine

Engine - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Engine Upper Support Insulator (G1923644) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 110 Nm

NOTE:

Loosen the bolt, but do not fully remove.

Torque: 110 Nm

Engine - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Engine Upper Support Insulator (G1923644) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 80 Nm

Engine - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Engine Upper Support Insulator (G1923644) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 80 Nm

NOTE:

Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only

Engine - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Engine Upper Support Insulator (G1923644) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 110 Nm

INSTALLATION

  1. Refer to: Engine Mount Alignment (303-01B Engine - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, General Procedures).
  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

WARNING:

Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.

NOTE:

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

  1. Refer to: Turbocharger (303-04D Fuel Charging and Controls - Turbocharger - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).
  2. Refer to: Low Pressure Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (303-08B Engine Emission Control - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:

Remove and discard the gasket.

ENGINE - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD (G1875876) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Renew Part: EGR cooler to EGR valve gasket.

Torque: 12 Nm

NOTE:

Remove and discard the gaskets.

ENGINE - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD (G1875876) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Renew Part: EGR pipe to exhaust manifold gasket.

Torque: 12 Nm

ENGINE - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD (G1875876) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Torque: 8 Nm

INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Install the bolts and tighten in the sequence shown.

NOTE:

Install new gaskets.

ENGINE - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD (G1875876) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Torque: 20 Nm

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
