REMOVAL

NOTE:

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release - GTDi 2.0L Petrol (310-00 Fuel System - General Information, General Procedures).

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

Refer to: Engine Cover - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

CAUTION:

Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Renew Part: Turbocharger inlet pipe seal.

Torque: 12 Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

Install a new O ring seal.

NOTE:

Install a new gasket.

Torque: 12 Nm

Torque: 7 Nm

Torque: 3.5 Nm

Torque: 12 Nm

CAUTION:

Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.

NOTE:

Install new gaskets.

Torque: 12 Nm

CAUTION:

Install a new O ring seal.

NOTE:

Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Torque: 12 Nm

Torque: 7 Nm

CAUTION:

Install a new O ring seal.

Torque: 5 Nm

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

CAUTION:

Support the engine on a jack. The angle may need to be adjusted during this procedure.

Support the engine with the lifting equipment.

Torque: 175 Nm

INSTALLATION

Refer to: Engine Mount Alignment (303-01B Engine - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, General Procedures).

Torque:

M12 80 Nm

M8 25 Nm

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
