Removal

NOTE:

The fender apron panel front reinforcement is installed in conjunction with:

  • Front bumper cover
  • Front bumper
  • Hood latch panel
  • Fender
  • Fender splash shield
  • Front bumper mounting
  • Front side member
  • Front subframe
  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Coolant expansion tank
  • Condenser

Front end sheet metal repairs fender apron panel front reinforcement (G1775679) - Removal

  1. The fender apron panel front reinforcement is serviced as indicated.
  2. Before commencing this procedure make sure that you are aware of all Health and Safety requirements.

NOTES:

  • Any joints sealed as part of vehicle manufacture must be sealed as part of the repair.
  • Make sure a zinc rich primer is applied to any bare metal surfaces.
  • To make sure the vehicle is correctly aligned. It must be placed on a Land Rover approved alignment jig.

Right hand only.

  1. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) pipes from the fender apron panel.

  1. Remove the spot welds as indicated.

  1. Remove the spot welds as indicated.
  2. Carefully separate the joints and remove the fender apron panel front reinforcement.
