Liftgate striker adjustment

Check for an equal gap and alignment to the adjacent panels. If incorrect, follow the adjust procedure below.

Liftgate striker adjustment

Loosen the 2 liftgate striker bolts.

Liftgate striker adjustment

Close the liftgate and check for an equal gap and alignment to the adjacent panels.

Liftgate striker adjustment

Torque: 25 Nm

Liftgate striker adjustment

Install the loadspace scuff plate.

Check the operation of the power tailgate (if fitted) using the power tailgate closing switch. Improper adjustment of the striker can prevent the tailgate from closing.

    DRAINING CAUTIONS: The engine cooling system must be maintained with the correct concentration and type of anti-freeze solution to prevent corrosion and frost damage. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the engine. Engine coolant will damage the paint finished surfaces.
