REMOVAL
NOTES:

CAUTION:
Make sure that Neutral is selected before starting the
procedure.

- Release the locking ring.
- Release the gearshift selector cables.
NOTE:
Note the orientation of the component prior to removal.

Torque: 24 Nm

INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of
corrosion and foreign material.
NOTE:
Apply a suitable amount of approved sealant to one of the
mating faces.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

ACTIVATION
WARNING:
Since injury such as scalding could be caused by escaping steam or
coolant, allow the vehicle cooling system to cool prior to carrying out
this procedure.
NOTES:
The following procedure will enable the cooling system to be
pressure test
When the driver moves the wipers and washers control switch to the rear
window wiper position, the CJB detects a LIN bus message and will
energize the rear window wiper relay which is integral with the RF Filter.
