Land Rover Discovery: Roof Pod (G1785332)  / Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.

NOTES:

  • Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Refer to: 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:

The procedure must be carried out on both sides.

Torque: 6 Nm

NOTE:

CAUTIONS:

  • Take extra care not to damage the component.
  • Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the magnetic fixings.

NOTES:

  • Discard the retaining clips.
  • Make sure that there is at least 50mm clearance between the magnetic fixings and the headliner during the removal procedure. The fixings will engage if too close to each other.

  • Lower the headliner for access.

    Renew Part: Retaining clips.

CAUTION:

Take extra care not to damage the component.

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
