REMOVAL

WARNING:

Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.

NOTES:

WARNING:

Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the front right halfshaft.

Refer to: Front Right Halfshaft - RHD AWD/LHD AWD (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation).

Discard the nuts and bolts.

Special Tool(s): 308-615, 100-012

INSTALLATION

AWD Right Transfer Case Seal - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel (G1894416) / Removal and Installation

Special Tool(s): 205-872

AWD Right Transfer Case Seal - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel (G1894416) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 60 Nm

AWD Right Transfer Case Seal - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel (G1894416) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 24 Nm

AWD Right Transfer Case Seal - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel (G1894416) / Removal and Installation

Torque: 24 Nm

AWD Right Transfer Case Seal - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel (G1894416) / Removal and Installation

Install new nuts and bolts.

Renew Part: Engine mounting bracket to engine bolts.

Torque:

Stage 1: 50 Nm

Stage 2: 180 Nm

Install the front right halfshaft.

Refer to: Front Right Halfshaft - RHD AWD/LHD AWD (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation).

Check and top-up the transfer case fluid level.
