1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

NOTES:

• This step requires the aid of another technician.
• Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

4. Refer to: Exterior Mirror Glass (501-09 Rear View Mirrors, Removal and Installation).
5. Refer to: Front Door Window Glass (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
6. Refer to: Front Door Latch (501-14 Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems, Removal and Installation).
7. Refer to: Front Door Lower Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
8. CAUTIONS:

• Note the fitted position of the seal.
• Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.

Torque: 35 Nm

Torque: 8 Nm

Torque: 3.5 Nm

Torque: 3.5 Nm

INSTALLATION

CAUTIONS:

• Note the fitted position of the seal.
• Install a new seal.
• Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
