Installation

Driveshaft - ingenium i4 2.0l diesel, vehicles with- active driveline (G1890848) - Installation

Torque: 25 Nm

NOTES:

  • Do not tighten at this stage.
  • This step requires the aid of another technician.

Torque:

M8 29 Nm

M6 10 Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure that new bolts are installed.

Driveshaft - ingenium i4 2.0l diesel, vehicles with- active driveline (G1890848) - Installation

  1. Renew Part: Differential case front bolts.

Torque: 175 Nm

  1. Remove the transmission jack.

CAUTIONS:

  • The component must be aligned with the installation markings.
  • Make sure that new bolts are installed.

NOTE:

Tighten the retaining bolts working diagonally.

Driveshaft - ingenium i4 2.0l diesel, vehicles with- active driveline (G1890848) - Installation

Renew Part: Driveshaft to rear differential bolts.

Torque: 40 Nm

CAUTIONS:

  • The component must be aligned with the installation markings.
  • Make sure that new bolts are installed.

NOTE:

Tighten the retaining bolts working diagonally.

Driveshaft - ingenium i4 2.0l diesel, vehicles with- active driveline (G1890848) - Installation

Renew Part: Driveshaft to front output flange bolts.

Torque: 40 Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure the center bearing mount is not under tension.

Torque:

M8 bolt 24 Nm

M8 nut 25 Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure the center bearing mount is not under tension.

Torque: 24 Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure the center bearing mount is not under tension.

NOTE:

If equipped.

Torque: 10 Nm
