Lower the vehicle.

Remove the bleed screw.

Set the heater controls to maximum.
CAUTION:
Anti-freeze concentration must be maintained at 50%.

Fill the coolant expansion tank to the rim and continue until coolant is visible from the outlet.
Once coolant is visible from the outlet, close the bleeding point.

- Fill the coolant expansion tank to the rim and continue until coolant is visible from the outlet.
- Once coolant is visible from the outlet, close the bleeding point.
CAUTION:
Anti-freeze concentration must be maintained at 50%.

- Fill the coolant expansion tank to the rim and continue until coolant is visible from the outlet.
- Once coolant is visible from the outlet, install the pipe.
CAUTION:
Do not overfill the coolant expansion tank.
Continue to fill the coolant expansion tank until the coolant level stops dropping.

Clamp the hose.

Torque: 8 Nm

Torque: 3.5 Nm
CAUTION:
Make sure that the hood is open and the vehicle is in Park (P).
Start the engine and allow to idle for 5 minutes.
Switch off the engine.

Remove the clamp.

Torque: 8 Nm

Torque: 3.5 Nm
Start the engine.
Continue to top-up with coolant with the engine at idle.
- Increase the engine speed to 2000 rpm.
- Check and top-up the coolant if required.
CAUTION:
Correct installation of the coolant expansion tank cap can be obtained by tightening the cap until an audible click is heard.

Switch the heater off.
Raise the engine speed to 2500 rpm for 10 minutes.
Allow the engine to idle for 2 minutes.
Switch the engine off and allow to cool.
Fill the coolant level in the expansion tank, to the maximum cold fill line.
