REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.

NOTE:

Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Remove the air cleaner.

Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).

Detach the hose from the charge air cooler pipe.

Remove the charge air cooler pipe.

Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector

CAUTION:

Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

NOTE:

Note the orientation of the locating pegs for correct installation of the throttle body.

INSTALLATION

CAUTIONS:

  • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
  • Tighten the retaining screws evenly and progressively in the sequence shown.

NOTE:

Make sure that the throttle body is installed in the correct orientation as noted on the removal step.

Torque: 12 Nm

Connect the throttle body electrical connector.

Install the charge air cooler pipe.

Torque: 5.4 Nm

Attach the hose to the charge air cooler pipe.

Install the air cleaner.

Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).

If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
