Control Module (G1781294) / Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
NOTES:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and
Operation).

Remove the rear differential heatshield.

Disconnect and release the rear differential wiring harness.

Disconnect and release the rear differential wiring harness.

Loosen but do not fully remove the differential control module
bracket retaining bolt.

Remove the differential control module retaining bolts.

Remove the differential control module
INSTALLATION
Install the differential control module.
Torque: 10 Nm
Tighten the differential control module bracket retaining bolt
Torque: 10 Nm
Connect and secure the rear differential wiring harness.
Install the rear differential heatshield
Torque: 10 Nm
If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover
approved diagnostic equipment.
