Overview

The vehicle has five levels of audio system available:

  • InControl Touch System - 6 speakers Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) integral with Audio Head Unit (AHU)
  • InControl Touch System 190W - 10 speakers, AHU and external 6 channel AAM
  • InControl Touch System 250W - 11 speakers including dual voice coil subwoofer, AHU and external 8 channel AAM
  • InControl touch Plus System 250W - 11 speakers including dual voice coil sub-woofer, Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and external 8 channel AAM
  • InControl touch Plus with Meridian Surround System 825W Dolby Pro Logic II 3D Surround Sound System - 17 Speakers including dual voice coil sub-woofer, IAM and external AAM.

All audio systems, except the InControl Touch 6 speaker system, are powered by an Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) located below the left front seat. The AAM is controlled by the Audio Head Unit (AHU) or the Integrated Audio Module (IAM). The speakers are hard wired to the audio amplifier module. The speakers are hardwired directly to the AHU on the InControl Touch 6 speaker system.

The AAM on the InControl Touch Plus System and InControl Touch Plus with Meridian Surround System is larger than those used on the other systems.
