Installation
REMOVAL
CAUTIONS:
- Make sure to protect the paintwork.
- Using a suitable tool, release the trim panel.
NOTE:

Torque: 7 Nm
NOTE:
Use a screw driver with heat shrink protection fitted.

NOTE:
When removing the trim, make sure that metal clips are
retained on the trim.

INSTALLATION
NOTE:
Install new retaining clips.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Discard the retaining clips.
Disconnect the battery groun

GENERAL PROCEDURES
Inspect bearings for the following defects.
Cratering - fatigue failure
Spot polishing - incorrect seating.
Imbedded dirt engine oil.
Scratching - dirty engine oil
Base exposed - poor lubrication.
Both edges worn - journal damaged.
One edge worn - journal tapered or bear
