REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Prior to any work being undertaken on the telematics control module, confirmation is required if there is a stolen vehicle tracking subscription on the telematics control module. If there is stolen vehicle tracking subscription, the telematics control module will need to be placed into Service Mode by the customer in the InControl Smartphone app or on the InControl website. Failure to follow this instruction could result in theft notification alerts being activated.

NOTES:

  • If the telematics control module has an active stolen vehicle tracking subscription, on completion of any repairs undertaken on the telematics control module the vehicle will require to be removed from Service Mode by the customer.
  • Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

Remove the right loadspace trim panel.

Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
