Discard the bolts.

corrosion and foreign material.

Discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
NOTE:
Make sure that new bolts are installed.

Renew Part: Transmission housing end cover gasket.
Renew Part: Transmission housing end cover bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Inspect bearings for the following defects.
Cratering - fatigue failure
Spot polishing - incorrect seating.
Imbedded dirt engine oil.
Scratching - dirty engine oil
Base exposed - poor lubrication.
Both edges worn - journal damaged.
One edge worn - journal tapered or bear
